Streamlining sales with automation for Purple Cow

Untangling a real estate agency's scattered sales process

Purple Cow, a Brisbane real estate agency, was fighting a convoluted sales process, scattered leads across multiple CRMs, and a fully manual nurture strategy. The Garden automated the lot: appointment and re-engagement nurtures, contact profiling and a timely autoresponder.

The challenge

Multiple CRMs and messy databases, duplicate records, opaque naming conventions, made personalised communication nearly impossible. Above all, Purple Cow needed to build trust and engage its audience at scale, without the manual effort that had capped it so far.

Our solution

Two nurture streams, appointment and re-engagement, keep contact with new and existing leads, with profiling features segmenting buyers, sellers and investors for tailored content. Value-packed emails lead with ebooks, rent calculators and local insights, in a revamped, genuinely personal tone. Active Campaign runs the nurtures, integrated with Purple Cow’s Rex CRM and Calendly through Zapier, and CRM sales stages update automatically as leads book discovery calls.

The optimisations made it sharp: A/B tests of plain-text emails from the managing director against branded templates, a profiling page enriching the database by persona, Calendly routing forms automating bookings across 29 estates, dynamic content per lead type, and an autoresponder catching website leads intending to sell within 3 months for immediate attention.

The results

In its first months live, the appointment nurture delivered 154,566 emails with 38,411 opens and 1,575 clicks, booking appointments through Calendly and driving valuable profile updates: a sales process that now organises itself while the agents sell.
